This is a translation for convenience. The German version of this privacy policy is authoritative.

2. General principles

This website documents a preclinical research and development project. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and embeds no third-party content. Fonts are served exclusively from our own server; no connection to Google or any other external provider is established. No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS processes the data listed under section 4 solely on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

4. Server log files

When this website is accessed, the web server automatically collects:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• requested address and volume of data transferred
• HTTP status code
• referring page, where transmitted
• browser type and operating system (user agent)

Purpose: technical operation, stability and detection of attacks.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and uninterrupted operation of the website.
Retention: 14 days, after which deletion occurs automatically through daily log rotation. This data is not combined with other data sources.

5. Contact form

The contact form processes the following information: name, email address, organisation (optional), category, subject and message.

This information is not stored in a database. It is delivered directly by email to info@kanzlerbiologicals.com and processed in that mailbox.

The email additionally carries the browser user-agent string and a truncated cryptographic hash of the IP address (SHA-256). The IP address itself is not stored. The hash serves solely to prevent abuse by limiting submissions to five per 15 minutes, and is held only transiently in memory.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry serves the initiation or performance of a contractual relationship; otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (responding to enquiries, protection against misuse).
Retention: until the enquiry has been conclusively dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply.

Please do not submit health data, diagnoses, treatment requests or emergency information through this form. Health data constitutes a special category of personal data under Art. 9 GDPR; this project is not a medical institution and does not provide medical advice.

6. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, the information you provide is stored in order to process your enquiry. Legal basis and retention correspond to section 5.

7. Encryption

This website uses TLS encryption. Content transmitted cannot be read by third parties. You can recognise an active encrypted connection by the padlock symbol in your browser.

8. Your rights

You have the right at any time to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

Right to object: where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time under Art. 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation.

To exercise your rights, a message to the address given in section 1 is sufficient.

9. Right to lodge a complaint

Under Art. 77 GDPR you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is:
