Engineering work

Mechanical design, pressure and flow management, sensing and control logic, and the implantable energy system.

Engineering work on this project spans mechanical design (membrane pump, linear drive, valve timing), pressure and flow management (systemic and pulmonary circuits, pulse chamber, two-stage bypass safety), sensing and control logic (cross-sensor plausibility, staged fault response), and the energy system (implantable battery/BMS, TET-based inductive charging, 3 independent coil pairs).

Work is scoped and tracked as concept engineering, not clinical development: every module has a documented list of open validation questions (see Research) before any component can be considered proven rather than designed.

Project boundaries are explicit: no live clinical work, no patient data, and no medical claims are made or implied by any part of this documentation.
